Season 23 at Arlington Stadium
Before leaving the organization, Nolan Ryan made arrangements for us to play at the home of the Texas Rangers to benefit the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation. In addition to playing in another Major League park, in March a merry band of amateur hammer-pounders under the amused leadership of custom home-builder Mark Andregg, returned to Hertford NC to expand and renovate the Jim "Catfish" Hunter museum. Tommy Harrell used duct tape on real ducts, Chip Ford put the floor together, and Dave Stuart joined Rich Bellis after being relegated to the safety team—complete with neon reflector vests.
